Q1. InftyReader doesn't work in the command line version...

To use InftyReader in the command line version, please add the path to the folder of InftyReader.exe in the environment variable "PATH".
The default path after the install of Inftyreader is :
   "C:\Program Files\sAccessNet\InftyReader\bin", or
   "C:\Program Files (x86)\sAccessNet\InftyReader\bin",
depending or your Windows OS. Please check it.

Q2. InftyReader can't recognize my PDF files...

attention! At the current stage, there are some types of PDF files for which sometimes InftyReader failes to recognize.

  • In case your PDF is colored and InftyReader failed to recognize it, please try to convert your PDF to TIF or PNG as color image of 400DPI, and then run InftyReader to recognize it. The current Inftyreader recognizes color images in many cases, althogh it is not formaly supported.
  • If you make the PDF file from image file, the image file should be binary (black and white) page images of 600dpi or 400dpi.
When you make PDF files, please be careful to save as the PDF "for printing" and "not for displaying" .
